Q: How do I grow Indian Senna, and where can I get its seeds!!??
I want to grow senna seeds, I live in Florida, so I know temperature is warm enough, but I don't know how to get its seeds, or what kind of soil etc. it needs. The type of senna that is used in medicine and ayurveda. Thanx for any help!!

A: Check with your local nursery and see if they can either order in plants for you, or find seeds. Either one should be easy to locate, so try different plant nursery's until you find what you're looking for. Plant characteristics: Sunlight: full sun May tolerate part shade. Soil conditions: tolerates damp soil Tolerates poor drainage - This plant tolerates damp clay soils. Prefers rich, well-drained soil that is kept slightly moist. Grows well in clay soils. Plant Traits Lifecycle: perennial Ease-of-care: easy Height: 2 to 4 feet Spread: 2 to 6 feet http://www.gardening.cornell.edu/homegardening/scenee9ef.html#growinginfo

Q: Is it safe to give senna tea to a kitten?
It's often constipated and I was wondering if a few drops of senna infusion might help - or will it be dangerous for its health? The kitten is very young (2-3 weeks). I am not GOING to do it, I am simply curious. Apparently fennel tea sometimes helps constipated cats. And I don't do anything without asking the vet. So don't panic...

A: i am assuming you are hand rearing it. it wont be constipated at that age. when i was pottying my lil furbabies i ended up using kitchen towel on their lil bottoms. at that age you could give a little moist food as they would be trying out mums food. if you are really worried then take it along to you vet as they had to help me when my little ones mumwas hospitalised for the reason she could not feed her babies. they have techniques for getting them to go, at that age they don't go to toilet everytime but they do wee every time they are feed. if you need advice on hand rearing feel free to email me

Q: How long do you steep senna tea?
I am doing a cleanse - toxins and stuff. I was wondering how long to steep senna tea. Some sources say 3-5 minutes and others say 10 minutes.

A: my answer is atleast 5 minutes up to 20 minutes; if you steep the senna tea 20 minutes the tea is like a syrup; you can then dilute this with water; the longer you steep the tea; the greater the amounts of natural phytonutrients in the leaves are steeped into the tea; you can always steep the Tea til cool; then reheat the Tea; 3 mins. wouldn't bring the natural senna oils out either...a ps u can add honey or stevia to senna tea; if bitter

Q: Why isnt James Allen comparing Heikki to Senna now that he has beaten everyone else by such a large margine?
After Canadian qualifying James Allen was comparing Hamilton to senna because he outqualified the rest of the grid by half a second. Now Kovalainen does the same thing in much more windy/challenging conditions and no mention of the great man. What a load of crap from the english press as usual.

A: a couple of strong performances is hardly any reason to be compared to Senna.

Q: Are you excited about the possibility of seeing Bruno Senna at Honda next year?
I'm looking forward to it. Senna represents Honda again! Frankly, I have no sympathy for Rubens.

A: What has Bruno ever dominated in the lower formulas? Exactly. Keep Rubens. He deserves a chance to drive the new car under the radical new regulations.

Q: What should I expect when I drink Senna tea?
So i bought this box of senna tea at this health food store. I am just worried about trying it, the package says to prepare the cup of tea and drink it before i go to bed. So im just worried as to what i should expect...I dont want to end up running to the bathroom every five minutes the next day..ya know...I am also wondering if anyone has any tips or directions of warnings that would not be on the package and maybe what ur experience with senna tea has been. Thanx!

A: It have to refer to your own body....some are active on a person some do not....but ifyou feel that something is not right with you stomach.....stop at ones....or consult a doctor....some diet drinks makes us go rushing to toilet, but the best way still is excercise.....if you drink without excercise it would still be the same....take my advice...excercise works...

Q: What was the cause of Ayrton Senna's fatal accident?
I was just watching various videos today on Youtube and this is the first time I saw his accident. He did not attempt the corner so what was the cause? Did the car steering break or did Senna have a fatal medical event before the corner like an aneurysm?

A: It's still a mystery. The official most plausible theory is that his car jumped for a fraction of a second because of the cold tyres (after a slow lap under safety car I think, apparently the floor of the car was touching the track instead of the tyres). Not realising this, he attempted a correction by steering in the other direction and it ended up tragically. Senna was not the kind of driver that just crashes out like that without something triggering it, specially during that weekend, he was aware Ratzenberger had died and I doubt he would have been careless in that situation.

Q: What did Ayrton Senna mean to the Brazilian people?
I know he was a hero but on what scale? A member of the 94 world cup winning team(i cant remember who) said that Pele was a hero in brazil but Senna was something else, something more than that to the brazilian people. I mean what passion did he evoke in the brazilian people. I am well aware of Ayrtons achievments and his epic talent. I am a formula 1 fanatic...

A: Hi! I'm a Brazilian girl and I think that we feel this love for him because he was the best pilot in the world history. Besides, he was always worried about poor children and wanted to do something for them, but died before he could do it. Because of this his family has created Ayrton Senna Institute, which cares about poor Brazilian children.

Q: What did Ayrton Senna mean to the people of Brazil?

US fre Iraqis: Your name alone labels you as the idiot you are. Im not turning this into a debate about NASCAR but you're delusional. NASCAR is a joke compared to formula ford, never mind F1.

A: My wife, who is Brasilian, says that Senna was an inspiration to everyone in Brasil. He was a millionaire, but they only found out after he died that he gave away huge swathes of his money to charities to help the poor in his country. She says also that he was a very humble guy & not full of himself in the way that some famous sporting celebrities are.

Q: Can someone tell me which is better to take medicine with senna or sennosides for constipation?
Is the sennosides more gentle? Which is more effective? There is the Fletchers kind and the Fleet kind of children's laxative I was looking at for my child.

A: Magnesium Citrate is really good for that, sold at any drug store, just get a ten ounce bottle and serve it on ice,(it comes in cherry, grape, and a 7-up sort of flavor, none are very pleasant, but the ice helps) also, using a heating pad on the stomach area works well. Usually works in about an hour to six hours in my experience, (i have a lot)! hope your kid feels better soon, constipation is awful!

Q: I have been drinking dieters tea, whichh includes stevia and senna. Will this help me to not gain weight?
I just totally binged on icky food and feel gross. I have been drinking super dieters tea with Senna and stevia. Will this help me to not gain the weight from the binge? How does that work?

A: I'm telling you from experience- no. All senna does is stimulate your intestine to push the already digested mass out. You'll get cramps and doing this too much can make you constipated b/c you'll lose colon sensation. Once the food hits your stomach, it's starting the digestion process. Just forgive yourself and resolve to eat a lot of veggies and apples-- natural stomach-fillers with a laxative effect all their own :)

Q: Why is Senna more regarded than Prost nowadays?
The french driver scored more points, had more wins and more world titles. While they were teammates, Prost outscored Senna in both seasons (88 and 89). All the percentages are in favor of Prost, apart from poles (but poles are utterly useless if are not converted in victories, and Senna converted only a rough 60%, while Prost had "only" 33 poles, but he had also 51 victories!). So, why is Senna career so trumpeted and Prost career so underrated?

A: @Christos: Prost DID outscore Senna in 1988, but the "11 best scores" system meant that Senna took the title: Prost actually scored 105 points compared to 94 for Senna, but whereas Senna could count 90 of those, Prost could only count 87 of his. Also, Senna was perfectly capable of sitting on a lead when his car had problems, as he proved in the first four races of 1991: he was missing between one and three gears by the finish of EACH of those races, but he was able to do just enough to win (he won those races by 16s, 2s, 1s and 18s...). What Senna did do was make mistakes when there was no problem: Monza in 1987, Monaco and Monza in 1988 for example. Senna was a genius, but the fact remains that Prost beat him in equal machinery two years in a row at McLaren, and ran him close in an inferior Ferrari the year afterwards. After that, Prost was past his prime and Senna was indisputably the best driver in the world. As to the actual question, I put Prost above Senna simply because he was exceptionally quick while making hardly any mistakes; Senna made mistakes all through his career, and they cost him a great deal. Prost was usually faster than Senna on a clear track, while Senna was fastest when lapping other cars. Senna tends to have the edge when people ask "who was better" simply because he was a more exciting driver to watch...he LOOKED faster than Prost, even if he actually wasn't.

Q: Is it true that Senna stopped his car to help an other driver?
i saw the vid on youtube. does anyone have a longer one ? and the story behind it ? and what the other drivers thought and commentors ?

A: Yes it is, In 1992 at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium during Friday free practice Érik Comas crashed his Ligier-Renault very heavily at the flat-out Blanchimont section. Other drivers drove past the wreckage at high speed, but Senna jumped out of his car and sprinted back down the track to the wrecked car to do what he could to assist the Frenchman, who was knocked unconscious but thankfully uninjured.

Q: Can I take a laxative pill when I already drank senna leaf tea in the morning?
I had a lax tea this morning and it still hasn't come into effect, so can I take an overnight laxative pill that works in 6-12 hours? Would this be really bad?

A: Nope... Should be fine.... Just be near a bathroom.

Q: Would you like to see Senna come back to the bleach series?
I would. She was phenomenal. I think she was an awesome character and would love to see her come back.

A: u mean senna from memories of nobody? yea she was great and the movie was awesome and sad but sweet. anyway, bleach movies are just fillers, she she was never really in the series so she won't be coming back. but i would love to see her again
